A Fighter for Florida Families.

In 2017, Annette Taddeo made history as the first Latina Democrat elected to the Florida State Senate — winning a special election that flipped a Trump district from red to blue.

When Annette Taddeo’s father — an American fighter pilot who served in World War II and Korea — was kidnapped by FARC guerrillas in Colombia, her family fled to the United States with everything that mattered: resilience, a commitment to public service, and the belief that hard work still meant something in America.

Annette proved them right. She built LanguageSpeak from the ground up into one of America’s top 500 small businesses, raised a family in Miami-Dade, and won a State Senate seat — and then kept winning it.

In Tallahassee, she earned respect across party lines by doing one thing consistently: standing up for Florida families, no matter who was in her way.

Now she’s running for Chief Financial Officer — because Florida’s families are being robbed in plain sight. Insurance companies are raking in profits while homeowners can’t afford to stay in their homes. Tallahassee insiders are protecting themselves and their donors instead of the people who elected them.

The state needs an independent watchdog — not a political appointee who answers to the governor. Annette has paid Florida’s skyrocketing insurance premiums herself. Annette knows what Florida families are up against. She’s lived it. And as CFO, she will hold the corrupt accountable — starting on day one.
